WOMEN OF THE
EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH IN AMERICA
Our
purpose is to serve all of the women of Trinity Lutheran and our aim
is to involve more women in the work of the church and in serving the
Lord.

All
women of the church are invited to be members of WELCA. We are
members of the national organization of Women of the Lutheran Church,
the Southern Ohio Synod and Cincinnati Conference of Lutheran Women.
Together we commit ourselves to growth in faith, affirm our gifts,
support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action,
and promote healing and wholeness in the church, society and the
world. Over the next few months we hope to introduce all of Trinity
to the work that WELCA is doing. Each month we will introduce a
special area of the WELCA program. Please accept this invitation to
join us in carrying out the work of the church.

 Don’t forget the collection for the
Red Eyed Women of Tanzania—coins,
green backs, and checks
made payable to WELCA can be
placed in the jars at the entrances
to the worship space.

| Our main fundraiser for the year is the sale of
Entertainment Books. We begin selling them in the fall.
Currently we have new stationary for sale - with the newest
drawing of our church with the new addition. Cost is $5 per
package - envelopes included. We recently held a silent auction
for a beautiful homemade quilt. If you have other ideas
for fund-raisers, please let us know! |
