Trinity's staff includes one pastor, a director of Children Youth and Family Ministries, and a director of our Music program.  We also have a director of the choir on staff, a part time bookkeeper, and two staff in our administrative office.  We provide background information on our key staff members here.    Click on names to send an email.

Pastor Todd CutterPastor Todd     Pastor Todd joined trinity in August 2008.  He attended Lenoir-Rhyne College, an ELCA college, in Hickory, NC. graduating in 1996 with a degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, he worked in the Admissions Office at Lenoir-Rhyne, travelling the East Coast recruiting students for the college. Simultaneously, he completed a Masters Degree in Agency/Community Counseling and worked as the youth director at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Lincolnton, NC. He is a 2004 graduate of the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC.  His first call was to Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Southern Pines, NC.

He and his wife Sara were married in 2006. He served as an interim teacher of Language Arts for 6-8 grades at Epworth Children’s Home, a residential home funded by the United Methodist Church. In June 2006, he began serving Newberry College (an ELCA College) in Newberry, SC as campus pastor. Pastor Todd's wife Sara graduated from Southern Seminary in May 2008. In early 2008, she was assigned to the Southern Ohio Synods.  Sara serves Epiphany Lutheran Church in Centerville, OH. She was ordained on August 24, 2008.

Director of Music Nancy Tolford-PeenoNancy   Nancy, a part of our staff since 1962,  fills many roles at Trinity, including playing the pipe organ, keyboards,  making countless visitations to shut-ins and the sick, helping with youth, confirmation, and so much more. Dedicated to serving the Lord she is a tireless worker spending her days, nights and week-ends spreading happiness to the members of Trinity and all those whom she meets. The melodious sounds created by her on the pipe organ and keyboards fill Trinity weekly. Married to Sherman Peeno, Nancy is the mother of Terri Bax (Jim) and Tim Tolford (who is married to Carrie Muehlenhard, a lifelong member of Trinity).  Nancy has four grandchildren - Jim, Sophia, Micheala and Nathaniel.   A native of Ada, Ohio and a 1961 graduate of Ohio Northern  University, Nancy came to Trinity in 1962. In addition she completed her CPE (Clinical Pastoral  Education) at Bethesda.

Director of Children, Youth, and Family Ministries Nicole Kelly.  NicoleNicole joined Trinity in June 2009.  She majored in Theology at Valparaiso University with minors in Social Work and Psychology.  She began her studies in Seminary at the Lutheran School of Theology Chicago, and graduated from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus with a Masters of Divinity in the spring of 2009. Nicole fulfilled her internship duties as a Youth Minister in the Dayton area. Nicole's husband Jay is a Mechanical Engineer for GE Evendale.

Chancel Choir Director - Michael Merry choir     Michael received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from The Ohio State University and his Master’s In Music Education from The University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music. He retired after 25 years as a Music Teacher from the Oak Hills School District and still works there occasionally as a substitute teacher. Additionally, he was Adjunct Professor at the College of Mount St. Joseph, instructing in band, orchestration, and conducting. He has worked previously as Director of Music and Choir Director in Presbyterian and Lutheran churches and has been very active in the local music arena, from the founding the Mount Community Concert Band in 1986 to singing with the Cincinnati May Festival Chorus, which he still enjoys.
