Nancy fills many roles at Trinity, including playing the pipe organ,
keyboards, making countless visitations to shut-ins and the sick,
helping with youth, confirmation, and so much more. Dedicated to serving the Lord
she is a tireless worker spending her days, nights and week-ends spreading happiness to the members of Trinity and all those whom she meets. The melodious sounds created by her on the pipe organ
and keyboards fill Trinity weekly. Married to Sherman Peeno, Nancy is the mother of Terri Bax (Jim) and Tim Tolford
(who is married to Carrie Muehlenhard, a lifelong member of Trinity).
Nancy has three grandchildren - Jim, Sophia, and Micheala. A native of Ada, Ohio and a 1961 graduate of Ohio Northern University, Nancy came to Trinity in 1962. In addition she completed her CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) at Bethesda.
The following was taken from a recent edition of the
Lantern, in "Nancy's Notes":
"The songs/hymns we sing in all our worship experiences
have deep meaning to those who penned them. They offer us an opportunity to
experience our faith in a deeper, heartfelt way that strengthens us and
draws us closer to the God who loves us and inspired not only the
Scriptures, but the music that speaks so directly to us. Join me in singing
and praying these awesome hymns/songs and let God touch your life through
them. See you in worship!" |
